YMCA Camp Winona Employment Opportunities
Senior Counselor – Min. age 18 –
Senior Counselors live in a cabin with 8 to 12 campers as their counselor and leader (will be teamed up with one additional counselor). They will provide leadership in one or more program areas and participate in the planning and implementation in all camp programming. $320 per week with Housing, Food, and Utilities.
Male/Female Village Coordinator – Min. age 21 –
Coordinator is responsible for the supervision, safety and operations of the Boys Camp area. All cabin life aspects of the boy’s village are under their supervision. They also work with the Leadership Team to plan and implement all camp-wide activities and evening programs. $350 per week with Housing, Food, and Utilities.
Waterfront Coordinator – Min. age 21 –
Waterfront Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of all water/aquatic program activities. They also work with the Leadership Team to plan and implement all camp-wide activities and evening programs. $350 per week with Housing, Food, and Utilities.
Activities Coordinator – Min. age 21 –
This position leads the daily activities schedule. They are in charge of clinics, cabin choice and the trips programs. They serve as a part of the leadership team to plan and implement all camp-wide activities and evening programs. $350 per week with Housing, Food, and Utilities.
Programs Coordinator – Min. age 21 –
This position leads the evening and all camp day programs. They also extensively work with the CIT and LIT programs at Camp. They serve as a part of the leadership team to assist with daily camp needs outside of general programming. $350 per week with Housing, Food, and Utilities
Food Service Director – Min age 21 –
Previous cooking experience needed. Leads the kitchen in meal planning, ordering, staffing, preparing, serving and clean up. $14-16/hour DOE – Summer housing possible
Kitchen Staff – Min. age 18 –
Assists the Food Service Director and Cook in preparing and serving nutritious meals and in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area. $14-16/hour DOE – Summer housing possible
Year Round Program Staff –
Assists with programs on weekends and some weekdays as needed with waterfront (Lifeguards), Archery, Riflery, Ropes Course, Paintball and Outdoor Education. Hourly or Stipend depending on season – Possible housing
Custodial Staff (part time) –
Assists with cleaning of cabins, buildings and bathhouses.
